REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR NONCREDIT CLASSES

STEP 1 – APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

• Apply for Admission – If you are a new CLC student or if you have not attended classes at the College of Lake County in the past 48 months. You may apply three ways:
• In person – Admissions and Records B101, Grayslake Campus
• By mail or fax – Application located in class schedule, catalog and now in PDF format in our DOWNLOADS page.

STEP 2 – OBTAIN COLLEGE OF LAKE COUNTY ID

• New Students or Returning Students
• 48 hours after submitting your Application for Admission call (847) 223-1111, select option 4; the system will prompt you for your Social Security Number and your PIN (Your PIN is your 6-digit date of birth MMDDYY).

STEP 3 – REGISTER FOR CLASSES

• Over the Phone
• Call (847) 223-1111
• There are 4 items you must have
  • Your 7 digit CLC ID (See STEP 2)
• Your PIN (Your PIN is your 6 digit date of birth MMDDYY)
• Your employer code (Listed on the back pages of the current class schedule, if you don’t have the reference list or class schedule, use 99)
• The 4 digit numeric class code (Listed below the class description in the current class schedule or locate it by clicking here or our see the current class schedule in PDF format in our DOWNLOADS page).
• Over the Internet
• Go to www.clcilllinois.edu/selfserv.asp
• There are 3 items you must have
• Your 7 digit CLC ID (See STEP 2)
• Your Password (Your PASSWORD is your 6 digit date of birth MMDDYY)
• The 4 digit numberic class code (Listed below the class description in the current class schedule)
• Follow the instructions on the web page above in order to complete registration.
• Payment
  • No payment is necessary upon registration, a bill will be sent to your home address.

FOR NONCREDIT ONLINE CLASSES ONLY:

ONLINE ORIENTATION

• Go to www.ed2go.com/clc/
• Click on the ORIENTATION button
• On the day the class begins or anytime after that, click on the CLASSROOM button to get into the lessons for your online class.
