Our program will introduce the

- gross motor skills-activities to build large muscles
- fine motor skils - activities that help build the
muscles of the eyes, hands and fingers
- visual discrimination-ability to tell if two similar
pictures or letters are the same or different
- association -ability to look at several objects
and compare, classify or relate them in some way
- auditory memory-ability to listen and remember
what you have hear
- size relationship - relationship of objects to
one anoter in height and weight
- time relationship-passing of time and words related
to time (yesterday, tomorrow)
- comparison-using words that describe amounts (more,
less)
- analogies - ability to use the correct word to
complte a similarity
We will work on developing the
following skills...
- counting aloud from 1-10
- colors-know and recognize
- position-understand meaning of words (in, out, over,
under)
- knowing first and last name
- begin to print first name
- begin to recognize letters and numbers
- enjoy listening to books
- begin to learn how o tie shoes
- begin to learn their address and phone number
- begin to learn nursery rhymes and how to rhyme words
- begin to take care of personel needs (blowing nose,
flushing toilet, washing hands)
