The College of Lake County Cisco Networking Certificate is intended to prepare individuals for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam.

The program consists of four courses, each taught in an eight-week format which will allow a student to finish the program in two semesters and begin the sequence at anytime.

Material is presented by CBE (Computer Based Education), written by Cisco and supplemented by laboratory practical experience. The classes consist of on-line instruction, assessment, class lecture and laboratory work.

The courses will address both hardware and software issues including router programming.
